The airbus 320 was one of the first airliners to be built with fly-by-wire. It has a joy stick, much like the joy stick on a computer game. In this event the crew configured the airplane for a landing, so the computer software expected the plane to land, NOT fly by. So when the crew tried to add power and climb the computer fought their actions, not allowing the aircraft to climb.

This was a very well covered, and quite fatal, crash. This plane was taking-off, full of people, fuel and real pilots. No one lived.

I'm sorry, I was wrong, only three people died in that crash, although 130 were onboard.
The accident and resulting fire killed 3 of the 130 passengers. Captain Asseline and First Officer Mazière, two Air France officials and the president of the flying club sponsoring the air show were charged with manslaughter. All 5 were found guilty. Captain Asseline was sentenced to 6 months in prison, plus 12 months' probation; the others were sentenced to probation.

I think you need to turn up YOUR speakers....it never says unmanned, it says FULLY AUTOMATED. Most new planes are fully automated these days but they still have a captain behind the stick.

Oh yes, society had it out for a "no name" captain and all of the available media decided to lie about what really happened. Furthermore, the local governments safety commission release of an official report stating that three passengers died, is just made up.
